“Overall, the house had a variety of amenities that were desirable and the location was close to the ski resort but there were a few issues with the house that we wanted to mention. First of all, it was not very clear that this was two separate buildings, and tromping back and forth across the icy driveway was a challenge. “We had our annual retreat at the house — it slept 19 comfortably. The huge table is great for games, and the open floor plan is great for a big group. The bears and other stuffed heads add some flavor, for sure. We loved the foosball and hockey and video games downstairs, and the hot tub was great after skiing Holiday Valley. We would definitely do it again! ”

“This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 children. It was clean, cozy, and very well stocked. The view of HV slopes in the distance was beautiful. It’s super close to Holimont and HV! “We had an incredible stay at this beautiful chalet! It was spacious and comfortable, with more than enough room for our entire family—me, my wife, our two boys, my parents, and my sister. The master bedroom off the stunning living room was ideal for my mom, who can find stairs physically challenging.The real fireplace upstairs created an amazing atmosphere, especially with the snow falling outside—it truly felt like a winter retreat. “We all came up to see the eclipse. The cottage was easy to fine, had great bedrooms, a wonderful kitchen, and perfecct yard for all my grandchildren to enjoy. Our host was helpful and easy to contact for questions. We do recommend this "House by a pond" for a pleasant stay away from home.”

“I booked this cabin as an after Christmas trip for my family and our best friends' family. There were a total of 6 adults and 2 teens. Prior to the trip, I contacted the owner with a few questions and he got back to me right away each time. When we arrived, the cabin was clean, very well furnished and had everything we needed while we were there. It even had a Christmas tree and lights which made it so festive! Unfortunately, it rained while we were there so we couldn't use the sleds provided on……
