“Great location near Beacon Hill Park (a must visit during your stay in Victoria). The Cambridge Room is lovely with a big Jacuzzi-size bathtub in the room to relax in after a chilly whale watching tour or long walks around town. ”

“The hosts are very polite and attentive. Rooms are fine but bed was very soft. You share a bathroom with one other guest but did not seem to be a problem. The bathroom was spotless with extra clean towels if you needed them. Good value for the price which includes a hardy breakfast at 8:30 AM sharp!!”

“We stayed for a long weekend. It was great to be right on the wharf! The food around us was great! Room was clean and easy to access. There was breakfast included at a local cafe which was scrumptious.”

“Beautiful quaint Manor in a quiet residential area. Beautiful grounds and streets. Walkable to beach areas and restaurants. Staff were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing!”

“Very conveniently located. Very clean. Easy communication with host. Easy entry. Fridge stocked with some essentials was a nice touch as was labeled cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and bathroom. It felt very homey and welcoming. Will definitely book again”

“Recycling and garbage as you walk to the entrance and you walk by looking into the owners kitchen. The main area is also used as a staff room? There is a sign on the fridge that says staff use only and clearly has staff’s food in it. You only actually get a bedroom with a lock on it and a bathroom with cleaning supplies mops etc on the wall. I absolutely did not feel safe especially when I came back and someone had been in the suite. This is not as advertised at all. ”

“wonderful breakfast and friendly service, but far from downtown a little”

“Words cannot describe the incredible experience my girlfriend and I had; along with the exceptional hospitality which was provided by the hosts! Highly recommended, property is clean and private. Hosts are quick to reply and available if needed. The breakfast is absolutely delicious! The hosts are incredibly down to earth, and I am so thankful and appreciative that I came across this listing! “Very convenient to downtown without the noise. Quiet neighbourhood that is 15 mins walk to centre of town.”

“Overall, our hosts Francois and Wynn were very welcoming and helpful with local amenities. The breakfasts that were presented were both nutritious and gourmet delicious. We found our bed a little too firm after the first night, so Wynn cheerfully added a “topper” for comfort. Our bedroom was upstairs, which was okay for us but might have proved challenging for some guests. The bathroom amenities were very satisfactory but the towels and bath mat were tired. “Beautiful view of the ocean and bay! Lots of wildlife to see. There was construction when we stayed but didn’t notice the noise from our room. Kitchen well equipped with everything you might need. ”
