“The house feels very well-loved. It has a real sense of personality, warmth, and whimsy. I appreciated my dealings with the host and how accommodating she was. It's cozy, as mentioned in the listing, but there's a very smart use of space (the kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals.) If you do have mobility issues, though, the bathroom is really tiny and the steps to the basement are quite narrow. But overall, I'd definitely recommend.”

“The home was as described, very clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and felt comfortable and “homey”. Great living room area to visit with family. Nice fenced in back yard, which our dog loved!Anthony was very kind and welcoming and overall a great host!We really liked the location! Close to some beautiful walking paths, a very clean and quiet neighborhood, and really easy to get anywhere in the city.I will absolutely choose to stay here again.Thanks so much Anthony!”

“We had a great time at the beach house! The views from the rooms and patio were very nice. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at the end of busy days. The bed was very comfortable, the whole place was nicely decorated (my wife called it quaint). We saw lots of otters, seals, birds and even (I believe) an orca. Tiffany was an awesome host. We'll definitely return next time we're on the island.”

“We had a lovely stay at Orca Point. It’s a beautiful location with a private rocky beach. The house was well appointed comfortable for 4 adults. There are lots of places to explore in the area but were very happy spending most of our time enjoying the view and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and it was silent and dark at night, which was fabulous!”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The first thing you see when you walk in is a beautiful garden, you can hear the birds in the morning when you walk outside. The host has a variety of pamphlets with things to do and maps of Victoria and surroundings which was very helpful to plan our day. The stay comes with lots of entertainment options from streaming, books and games. Also, it was very handy to have 2 bathrooms. We would definitely book again.”

“I stayed here with my parents (70’s) and niece (22). My niece lives in Vancouver so this was a family visit to Vancouver Island to see her. We wanted to stay somewhere a little more quiet and secluded, not in Victoria. The location was perfect for us. Just outside the town of Sooke with easy access for shops and restaurants. And close to a lot of parks for hiking. It was also just a 45 minute drive to Victoria and Butchart Gardens, both of which we wanted to visit. The cottage was perfect for……
