“We had a fantastic time at the lake! Check in was a breeze. The house was super clean, nicely laid out and perfect for all of us. We had plenty of room to spread out and since mother nature decided to rain on us all four days we were there, it was nice to have space. The hot tub was the star of the show and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The towels and linens were very nice as well. We opted to cook our meals while we were there and the kitchen is fully stocked and loaded with EVERYTHING you……

“I can’t say enough good things about our stay here with my family of three. The house was super clean & smelled amazing when we walked in. I absolutely loved the layout, decor & the kitchen was equipped with pretty much anything you would need. The basement area with games was a nice treat for late evening. The location is perfect being in a cove but short distance ride out to the main channel next to the dam. I noticed the water is so much more clear on this end of the lake. My son & I……

“Quiet and relaxing ”

“We had a great time at this lake house. The house itself was absolutely perfect for our stay, which included fishing for the men and lazy/relaxation for the ladies. The dock was perfect for our 24ft SeaArk (public boat ramp was about a 5-10 minute boat ride from the house) and came with built in boat bumpers. Fishing from the dock itself proved to be our 4 year-old's highlight of the trip. There were plenty of brim and blue gill. There is also a free public splashpad park about 5/10 minutes……

“This is a great house in a quiet cove. It was great for fishing, kayaking, cooking meals ( they will have EVERYTHING you need ), and recreation even in bad weather.We would definitely stay again.(Be aware, as of August 2025, you can not use Apple Maps to get to this house. It will take you to the wrong house which has no house numbers on it ! This house does have the house numbers marked to your left by the garage door- look for those numbers. )Thank you to the owners for sharing their wonderful……

“Enjoyed our stay at Castaway Cottage. The back deck was our favorite and we stayed out there alot with all the rain we had. Inside is as described. Stairs to water and dock as described. We had about 9 feet of water off the front of the dock. Water silty and some log debris but we were able to do our water-sports right in front of the house. Only issue was listing states sleeps 8, 7 comfortably but owner contacted us when we had 5 cars in driveway questioning if we had more than 6 guests (we……
