“Cabin was nice clean and comfortable for us and our two dogs. The view from the private dock there is an amazing was amazing. Just one thing for those who have dogs who love the water like ours. There is no access to the water on the property, however, the state park is two miles away and there is an amazing dog beach there!”

“This place was the perfect escape for our family. It was big enough for the kiddos to explore and also had a beautiful yard leading out to the beach that was amazing for morning walks and sunsets. Everything was clean and the space was welcoming for all of us, even our pup. Thank you for the perfect Easter getaway!”

“We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head……

“Everything was wonderful. Just one pretty minor complaint: the CD player was weird to operate and only one speaker worked. We had a great time. We visited Tuttle Marsh and the River Road on the Au Sable River on our way out, and climbed the lighthouse and hiked all around the edge of the peninsula. The fall colors were at peak for a good portion of our trip up. Thanks very much for making our 40th anniversary a great experience.”

“We loved our stay! The location was perfect if you want to be downtown. There were many amenities that a lot of VRBOs don't include. The coffee bar was a huge feature for us, as was the large dining table we could all gather around. My checklist included a fireplace and a loft. My kids love traveling with a loft. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too!!”

“We will definitely be staying there again! Staff is very friendly. The cabins are definitely older & they are in process of updating them. The 2 suggestions we have is to include in their resort details that the cabin rentals do not include towels- currently that is not stipulated. (It says towels included). Also to instruct the staff on appleTV. This system is very new to all of them and us & could not get our TV to work. We were ok with that because we spent more time outside but some guests……

“A beautiful house on Lake Huron. Well maintained and inviting. The beach area has a lot of room for long beach walks, and there are beach chairs, kayaks, and a great firepit.The house also has a lovely fireplace. The he pnly complaint I had was that the TV could not get live sports games. Otherwise, I would definitely reccomend this property. The 2 times I had to ask questions of the host the response was promt.”
