“We were in town for our daughter's wedding at the Lake Morey resort. We stayed the beginning of the week here, with our family prior to moving to the resort for the wedding day and celebrations. It was wonderful! Big enough to accomodate our family, but with three stories and covered porches it was also private to those who want to hang in the lower level or main level or outside. The decor is very nice and modern and furnishings were comfortable. Big TV in the lowest level so we were able……

“This cottage is in a lovely, private spot. It was perfect for me to work while my husband attended the King Arthur Flour Baking School artesian bread baking class. We had one issue with the refrigerator losing power, we rigged up an extension cord to another outlet and had no further issues. Informed the management company via text, they did not send anyone to fix the faulty outlet but we did fine for our stay. ”

The larger property and the cabin itself are beautifully kept and everything in the listing is as pictured - comfy and nicely decorated and with all the basics for one or two people…but better than pictured because of the amazing setting on the edge of the woods next to a brook. It was perfect to be in the coziness of the house with that huge picture window, bringing the outdoors in with you. I also sat on the porch, all wrapped up, and listened to……

“My family of four traveled for a quick fall foliage tour mid October. We used this house as our base instead of staying at multiple places. This meant we drove a little more each day but we got to wake up and come home to this magical place. Seriously. We wanted to come home early each day to spend more time here. It’s quiet, enchanting, spotless, and filled with charm. I cannot stress how beautiful and peaceful it is being directly on the lake. We will definitely be back. ”
