“We were in town for our daughter's wedding at the Lake Morey resort. We stayed the beginning of the week here, with our family prior to moving to the resort for the wedding day and celebrations. It was wonderful! Big enough to accomodate our family, but with three stories and covered porches it was also private to those who want to hang in the lower level or main level or outside. The decor is very nice and modern and furnishings were comfortable. Big TV in the lowest level so we were able……

“The cabin was nicely appointed andtheremote and rural location was just what I was looking for. A bit further from town(s) than I realized but that was not a problem. Also not quite prepared for the unpaved roads but not a problem as I have often driven on dirt in other places. Hosts very helpful and hospitable.”

We wanted somewhere secluded with limited cell service (the WiFi was excellent but we switched our phones off). We were able to enjoy ourselves and our time with limited distractions. “The long winding driveway through the forest opens to a park-like landscaped vista. Every flower garden, and they are everywhere you look, was in full bloom. Song Sparrow Cottage has a fairytale, idyllic setting. The cottage itself is nothing short of spectacular in its construction and attention to detail. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything. One could never tell that this is an "off grid" property. James and Michele were a pleasure to work with. ”
