“Check-in was easy, with very complete advance instructions from our hosts. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is spacious and in a beautiful location. The kitchen is nicely set up for use. The farm fresh eggs in the fridge made for two delicious breakfasts, and we very much enjoyed our gracious hosts’ tour of the working farm behind the house. An excellent place to spend a weekend. We recommend it highly! ”

“My wife and I spent a very pleasant 2 nights here. Ellen had provided excellent directions making the unit easy to find. Ellen was there to welcome us (her home is just adjacent to the lovely converted barn we stayed in).The place was very comfy, with lots of thoughtful touches. Upon entering, we were greeted by a beautifully penned welcome note, along with a locally made chocolate chip banana bread!! Many areas in the flat have automatic night lights, making safety easier for we who appreciate……

“The carriage house was a great experience. Clean and cozy (but not small). River running just outside provided great calming sound throughout and otherwise very quiet and at the very back of a wonderful area. Hiking trails are walkable directly from the property as well. Dorset is a wonderful area and close enough to Manchester that we drive in daily. Would highly recommend this place. ”
