“If I could rate it higher stars I would!! This is a fantastic place. The owner Steve was great - very helpful and accommodating. There were many breakfast options and the food was good. The decor in the building is very artsy and gorgeous. I got a good vibe from the place as soon as I walked in - very welcoming. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Eastbourne boardwalk and 5-10 minute walk into town. Good location. I would stay here again when in Eastbourne.”
“Good location on the seafront and very short walk to the tennis venue. The mattress on the king size bed was really comfortable. Good view of the beach and pier. Staff were really helpful and the food was great. The chef made a lovely pasta dish for me and my husband's steak was really tasty. ”
“I booked a double and ended up getting room 9 at the top with a fantastic view. It was spacious, modern and the en-suite bathroom was lovely.

“My wife and I had an incredible stay at the lovely Port Hotel with a stunning waterfront view providing gently rolling waves for ambience with the windows cracked open. The staff were perfect and the Eastbourne waterfront was everything we'd hoped for an authentic English coastal experience. Although was not an issue for us, be aware there are no elevators so if you book an upper floor then you're in for a good workout getting up and down the stairs daily -- especially getting heavy bags up and……
“We stayed there for 5 nights with our 2 teen girls joining over the weekend. Everything was really good: the hospitality, the room and bedding, breakfast, local restaurant guide and even the flush at the toilet. Parking was an issue after 8pm as usually all the closest parking lots would be full.”
“I stayed in the studio apartment with my kid, it was cosy and had everything we needed like a washing machine, cooker, fridge, tv and wifi. The building has a lift which was great especially with luggage. The staff at the front desk were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is great as it’s very close to the beach and lastly the parking was good as it’s free on the opposite side however it does get full in the evening but luckily there are a few roads nearby which are all free :)”
