“Don’t go expecting a resort and you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. The Guna that run the island are all warm, friendly, helpful. Great snorkelling tours and beautiful clean water. The accommodations are very simple but comfortable. Shared bathroom that was kept very clean. A great place to get away from it all. The ride through the mountain was very potholy and winding so if you get carsick definitely come prepared.”

“Hotel rústico en medio de la montaña. Muy limpio. Excelente atención de parte de Mirna y Antonio. Comida sencilla pero muy sabrosa. Un lugar para desconectarse de la ciudad. Aspectos a mejorar: la presión de agua en la ducha es muy baja. No había jabón en los baños. Actualmente están arreglando la carretera, por lo cuál se escucha el ruido de camiones en la noche, una molestia temporal que no es responsabilidad del lugar. ”

“Our stay at Cabanas Narasgandub was everything you would expect from a remote and rustic location. You will rise when the rooster crows at the crack of dawn and likely be sleepy shortly after the sun goes down. The cabins are extremely rustic and this location is not for someone expecting a 5 star resort. It's basically camping in the most beautiful scenery. “Communication was good and highly organized. We felt safe and didn’t need to lock up our bags or valuables at all times. Weather was rough (not their fault) so the stay was a challenge with super high winds and rain. The island was covered in trash nearly all the way around. Our cabin doors were off hinge and barely closed. The shower and sink were filthy and the toilet stained.
