“This was our first experience with a floating house, we have rented houseboats on other lakes in the past. It's like a bigger, nicer houseboat and you don't have to worry about generator fuel. lol. The jumping deck and slide kept the kids entertained nicely. The covered sitting areas were a blessing in the afternoon sun or when a rain shower would blow through. We had one little hiccup with access, but the owner and manager had it rectified before I could make my second trip to get the rest of……

“Our family of five enjoyed Misty Mountain Cabin, as a home base and gateway to activities in the Gatlinburg area. The neighborhood was peaceful, and accessibility was great. The cabin itself was just as described (if not better), with all things in working order and very spacious. The game room was a real treat - kids spent a lot of time they're. Check-in and communication with the host was ”

“We didn’t like that we pulled out silverware and other dishes from cabinets and drawers that had old nasty food dried to them. Not a deal breaker for us though. We loved everything else about the cabin and plan on staying again in the future. We’ll just make sure to wash dishes before we use them! ”

“The property was nice and as described. Great location and as the name mentions saw a bear the forst day (across the street) . There are quite a few steps to get to the door but that did not worry us, as we are fully mobile, limited mobility may want to consider looking on google maps to judge if they are able to climb. Did have a midnight visitor rummage through the trash:) great house. ”

The only complaint I have is we got woken up a little early due to the noise of construction across the road. Everything else was great!”
