“We came to visit and check out one of our adult children’s new town, recently moved to manistee. We had a lot of fun. We were surprised at how well the we all fit in the house with room enough - 6 adults and kids. The two upstairs bedrooms are connected, need to walk through one to get to the other- perfect for mom/dad and kids; we slept in the tiny room downstairs- fits a bed and that’s about it- but we didn’t find it uncomfortable- was okay! The kitchen is nice and bathroom good; the water……

“This house is incredibly spacious and easy to feel at home in. We thought it was walking distance to the beach but it's way too overgrown to do that safely, and you're limited to a small view of the lake from the back of the house, or a better one from the upstairs deck. The kitchen is huge and has high quality appliances, including ice maker, and the eat in kitchen has seating for four as does the front living room, so nowhere for five or more to eat together. “This was our second year in a row staying at the cabin, and it continues to be a peaceful, comfortable retreat. It’s very sturdily built and incredibly quiet -- perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. We've stayed during the heat of summer both times, and the home has handled it well: individual AC units upstairs and central air throughout keep things cool and comfortable.
