“I’ve stayed here a few times and it is always good value for money and easy to use, the communication with the host is good and the different choice of rooms is good. Free parking is available overnight a few minutes walk away after 6pm. Place is always clean and quiet.”

“Really lovely stay in this excellent lodge, on a super site. It was extremely well equipped, with lovely touches like free tea and coffee and a hamper containing wine, peanuts etc, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated.Perfect location, we travelled with 2 dogs who loved the beach.We would not hesitate to stay again.”

“Good location for the south bay & spa area. Added bonus of the pool & spa area in the hotel. Bedrooms could benefit from curtains or black out blinds and the fire doors bang in other apartments which is quite noisey, but we have been twice & wouldnt hesitate to go back!”

“Easy to get to the beach as well as the shops/harbour so great location. Host communicated well and everything we needed was provided. Could do with a shelf in the shower as it is quite tight when needing to bend for shampoo etc. initially a cigarette smell to the property so not sure if previous tenants smoked inside. Thank you for a nice stay”

“The property is tucked away just of the Main Street in the town centre. Perfect for access to all amenities and the beach. We were able to lock the car up and walk everywhere. The property provided everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend.”

“Stayed for 3 nights in May. Managed to park for free on arrival,bonus! Felt a little uncomfortable in the small entrance alley,it seemed quite dirty.The stairs up to the apartment door were cracked and the light was on a sensor which didnt come on until i was on the second step. After unlocking the apartment door the stairs leading up were a disappointing first impression, they were covered with a plastic protector which was dirty and torn.Once in the apartment it was comfy and well equipped if……

“Lovely cottage, very cosy and well equipped. We did some lovely walks from the cottage on the beach to filey and the other way to Reighton gap. Facilities on site good, clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future. ”

“The apartment was very well fitted out, the staff were lovely very helpful, it is a little far from town and took us a while to find the local supermarket, maybe some instructions on how to work the job and parking was an issue, we went out for the day and had to park quite a walk away, but on the whole we loved it and were very comfortable 😊”

“We stayed for two nights with our two children to explore Whitby. The cottage is fantastic! Really nicely furnished and well equipped and lovely to look out over the harbour and across to the abbey. The location is brilliant, right by the harbourside but still feels nice and peaceful in the cottage.”
