“Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. ”

“Adorable little cottage just a few minutes from Lake George. Perfect weekend getaway for my wife and I! The hosts were extremely nice, made sure everything was clean for when we arrived, and even left us some tasty donuts on the kitchen table! “First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!”

“Great place to stay. There were four of us and it was about perfect with having one bathroom. Two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat are there for use. But plenty of room if you brought your own. I would recommend bringing your kitchen essentials (spices, oil, condiments) as there aren’t really any there. Easy walk to the beach across the road.
