“It was a very quick stay of only two nights but the overall feel of this place is very nice. Very charming interiors and it is located in the historic portion of New Bern.Only issue I had was that I tried calling the contact provided for clarity on how to get it and didn’t get an answer. This is not what you want when you have a young infant and are trying to navigate in the dark. Luckily the long term renter on the bottom floor was able to answer/direct me on how to get in.”

“The house was clean and neat and perfect for two. However we have discussed bringing our grandkids for the next visit.i was very impressed with the use of space. We had an issue with the tv and they fixed it very quickly.We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and get some rest.”

“I was in town helping a friend move and this space was good for a quiet sleep and peaceful mornings. It was very clean and the hosts were quite nice and welcoming. ”

“It's tempting to just stay put in this pleasant loft on the water's edge. But there is so much to see in New Bern and the surrounding area. Fort Macon State Park is the best!”

“The property was super walkable to downtown. Loved location; however, a bit disappointed with cleanliness. It could also be updated a bit. The back porch is what sold me on booking. I would of liked it to have been swept prior to staying as pollen was overwhelming. The inside of apartment was quite dusty and had dead bugs. Nice and cool, a bit too cold for my liking, but when I reached out to the manager, she responded promptly and we were able to resolve. Location was the best part of the stay.……

“Incredibly cool place. You can tell it’s freshly renovated and they did a wonderful job honoring its Victorian roots. The hosts were very welcoming and communicative. Looks just like the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”
