“Splendid little place high on the hill behind Chinas with huge views. Really welcoming, handy little private garden with our room, good pool at a comfortable temperature. Food was good simple family cooking but very well executed. We have eaten in more expensive places in the region but sometimes after a long drive something non-challenging is just what the dr ordered. Lots of wine for sale and the well stocked fridges in the room were at cellar door prices. What not to like? We will……

“A lovely location, with wonderful views over the vineyards. A pity their check-in was only at 4pm, but they got us a room finally at about 3.45 Restaurant was high quality, traditional French, but would have been better if they also had a simple French bistro. Nowhere else to eat within walking distance. We enjoyed using the on-site electric bikes, and their liked winery has a very well laid out tasting room.”

“Fabulous hotel in the heart of Burgundy. I stayed in the annexe, just around the corner from the hotel, but in a quiet street. The room was amazing, I sat room, really comfortable bed, separate room with sofa and tv, amazing shower room with separate toilet. Dinner was superb, the cuisine is outstanding, a great wine list - and the owners are so friendly. It’s a great place to walk around and I’d definitely like to go again. Thank you for a brilliant stay. ”

“Das Hotelgebäude besteht aus mehreren zusammengebauten Häusern am Rande der Altstadt. Schon aufgrund dieser Aufteilung und der geschmackvollen Restaurierung mit vielen liebevollen Details ist es ein Schmuckstück. Der Garten, der fast schon ein Park ist, das Plätschern des nahegelegenen Flusses und nicht zuletzt die Fußnähe einer bezaubernden Altstadt mit Markthalle und vielen Läden und Cafés gibt Anlass, nicht nur für eine Nacht zu bleiben. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. ”
