The owners are lovely and I enjoyed the ecological build of the rooms that gave me many ideas for my own renovation for the ancient house I purchased in Italy half a year ago. I love the natural cooling system which makes A/C obsolete, the attached greenhouse with tropical plants that are watered with recycled water from the shower, the hotel owned organic garden which supplies their cute restaurant and how quiet it is there. “Pequeno hotel, um pouco afastado do centro de Colonia, mas uma excelente opção para quem quer descansar e usufruir da excelente gastronomia do hotel. Almoçamos, jantamos e tomamos cafe da manha, tudo excelente. Jardins e vinhedos muito lindos na propriedade. Funcionários atenciosos. Na saída, ganhamos um pote de geléia produzida por eles. O vinho deles também é honesto. Voltaremos!”

“Hotel grande e confortável embora o banheiro seja ridiculamente pequeno pelo tamanho dos quartos ( que engenheiro ou arquiteto planejou isto?). O quarto de frente para o rio acaba sendo barulhento e o banheiro é com banheira. Troquei para um quarto de fundos e preferí pois além de ser mais sossegado o chuveiro era com box e sem banheira ( um tequinho maior). Muito Bom café da manhã. Jantamos uma noite no hotel e gostamos. Vá jantar em Las Liebres ( muito bom para se hospedar lá também)”

“A little slice of peace and quiet away from all the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist areas. We enjoyed the tranquil courtyard with the trickling fountain and the exceptionally good breakfast and view from the dining room. “Fine stay in perfect location! Lovely building with excellent roof terrace and shared lounge area. Stayed in a double room and besides a slight drainage smell and glitchy TV remote all was great. Walked from the bus station and to the ferry terminal with backpacks no probs!”
