“Hermoso hotel sobre la costanera, alejado de la zona céntrica y del barrio histórico pero a sólo cinco minutos en auto. Habitaciones muy espaciosas con todo lo necesario para una excelente estadía. Lo más atractivo es la arquitectura que crea un ambiente absolutamente acogedor. Me hospedo aquí cada vez que viajo a Colonia, y nunca me decepciona.”

“Hotel grande e confortável embora o banheiro seja ridiculamente pequeno pelo tamanho dos quartos ( que engenheiro ou arquiteto planejou isto?). O quarto de frente para o rio acaba sendo barulhento e o banheiro é com banheira. Troquei para um quarto de fundos e preferí pois além de ser mais sossegado o chuveiro era com box e sem banheira ( um tequinho maior). Muito Bom café da manhã. Jantamos uma noite no hotel e gostamos. Vá jantar em Las Liebres ( muito bom para se hospedar lá também)”

“I loved the 4 days I stayed at Caliu. The owners are lovely and I enjoyed the ecological build of the rooms that gave me many ideas for my own renovation for the ancient house I purchased in Italy half a year ago. I love the natural cooling system which makes A/C obsolete, the attached greenhouse with tropical plants that are watered with recycled water from the shower, the hotel owned organic garden which supplies their cute restaurant and how quiet it is there. “Great location, close to all the main places but in a quiet area of town with space to park. Friendly and efficient staff. The main area is very nice, with art and plants. Room was outdated, dark, musty. Old and noisy air conditioning, no plugs by the beds. Good shower and mattress. ”
