“Right inside Cotopaxi National Park…. The heat in your room is wood burning stove. They will get the fire going for you. I think the electricity goes off at 10:00 pm. Volcano warning siren just outside compound. The restaurant is awesome. They have coca tea to help with altitude.”

“Beautiful, rustique hacienda in the middle of amazing mountain landscapes. Everything is stone and wood. Very athmospheric. Everything was comfortable and clean, and the food was good. Staff was helpful. Only problem for us was the height sickness, but you can't blame Hacienda Los Mortinos for that. Also, it gets cold at night. The fireplace in our room kept us warm in the evening, but it was chilly in the morning. If you're a nature person you won't mind too much.”

“This is a beautiful property close to the north entrance of Cotopaxi national park. The grounds are very nice and the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food at the restaurant was excellent and rated the best in the area. ”
