“The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three.”

“This is a great place if you just need to relax. It's located near several restaurants and convenient stores. It doesn't have a lot of modern conveniences (there's no refrigerator and no AC), but it is comfortable and quiet. It was a great place to rest.”

“Beautful secure quiet hotel three blocks from Fochs Square. I had room 4 which is just off breakfast area and had garden view. Wifi worked well. Bathroom is a little small which is comon in Ecuador. No tv or phone which I consider a plus. Could use a table and chair but other than that a good place to stay. ”

“The towels and bed linen seemed unwashed, the breakfast didn’t exist, the lovely rooftop shown in the pictures was “private” and hence not available. The hairdryer didn’t work. Overall, the impression of the hotel shown in the pictures did not deliver and I have a hard time understanding the high score this hotel receives.”

“Lugar céntrico para recorrer Quito, con facilidad de acceso a restaurantes, metro y sitios de entretenimiento. Pero en la noches las calles son solitarias e inseguras. Además, el hotel tienen un salón para eventos, y el ruido y la música a alto volumen se puede extender hasta la 1 AM. No fue un buen sitio para descansar.”

“I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Quito. This is a family run boutique hotel and from the moment you walk in the door, they make you feel like you are family. It is a stunning hotel that is cozy and quiet, even though it is set right in the middle of the city. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating and they prepare a delicious homemade breakfast every morning!
