“This is a lovely little hotel with a very welcoming feel and great staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the food (breakfast and dinner) in the cosy restaurant was excellent. The decor is designed to celebrate the cultural heritage of Ecuador and the whole layout is very attractive. The availability of complimentary fresh fruit in the sitting room area was a nice touch. Nothing to fault here, highly recommended.”

“Overall was pleased with this hotel as a solo female traveler. Feels like a hidden gem for a good price. The staff were friendly, my room was clean and serviced when needed, and the breakfast is amazing! There is a deli style cafe right next door that offers plenty of options for a meal, coffee, or snacks. Although, this property is not super close to a lot of tourist spots Plaza Foch is just a few blocks away and I found this to be a consistent meet up spot for tours, making it a great choice. ”

“The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three.”

“Such a pleasure to stay at La Coupole. A beautiful mansion turned into a boutique hotel. Miles, the owner, is a gem. Well located walking distance to the Metro.”

“Stayed 3 nights. Property was in a quiet area and about 10-15 minute Uber ride (about $3) from historic area and the same from the gondola to ruku pichincha hike. Hotel was very cute with South American decor and charm. Breakfast was amazing with cereal, granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, cooked to order eggs, toast and ham, fresh juice and coffee/ tea. Staff was great, especially Nicole who was so helpful and accommodating. Room was just a little on the small side but doable. Turn hot water in……

“The Zen Hotel was great. They had a hard time finding my reservation at first but that happens at times. We had 2 rooms during our stay with both being Deluxe Studios with 1 King Bed with sofa bed. The rooms were nice. One had a beautiful view of the city. The room was nice and the bath room had good hot water. WiFI was excellent as well. The breakfast buffet was nice and there were plenty of options. The staff was great. They spoke English and were able to help with our needs. There was armed……

“Basically you never make mistake when staying by NH Hotels. But this time, it was a mess. I made reservation thru Hotel.com and it shows breakfast included. When we check in at first day, staff asked us to pay for breakfast and we refused, ask them to check with Hotel.com. 2nd. day, staff asked us again to pay breakfast and we insist don't pay, it's problem between NH and Hotel.com. Then, few hours later, they apologized for this mistake, everything was solved. 3rd. day when we check out, NH……

“We stayed at a superior king suite from June 5-12. The GEM of this 5-star hotel was the STAFF. They were genuinely friendly, never hesitated to help, and were very professional. Transport service from airport was arranged by hotel and was reasonable ($31 one way per shuttle). The facility was very clean and our suite very spacious and comfortable. Hot breakfast was included and provided wide selection. I wished the hotel had AC but fortunately, Quito has "cold" weather this month, so, opening……
