“We stayed at a one bedroom apartment facing east. This unit was on the 23rd floor and though it was high from the ground the noise of the city was loud. For a moment I felt I was in New York as the near by Atahualpa Stadium was testing the sound for a local concert. When we learned we were unable to have friends over in the apartment (building policy not mentioned to us at any point), we requested to leave.
