“The hotel is stunning. Great architecture. The restaurant is also very nice. CAUTION - Since it's located in a national reserve, you must be in before 8PM. The forest service will close the gate. I arrived at 8:02PM and the gate was closed. Fortunately one side was open so I went through there. Account for the windy and steep roads. Also, the rain. “It was a quiet beautiful place in the wilderness but beds and rooms could be bigger, service was as amazing, if you want a quiet place to rest and secluded it’s best place, I wished there was chairs on the top so you can relax the view on the top of the building. ”

“For foreigners, you have to go 20 minutes down a rock road which runs along the lake. Plenty of options for restaurants along the way. Fairly easy to locate, I would stress that you do not attempt to drive to or from here at night because of the road. The restaurant/bar on site had great food and I ate here each night. Decent alcohol selection. The views are the lake make it worth staying and only a hour or less out from major sites, I used it as my home base. Staff were fantastic ”
