“We had such an amazing time here! In addition to the bioluminescence tour with Eddy (10 minute drive) and the beautiful Organos Beach (5 minute walk), we did a horseback tour at Curu Wildlife Refuge (30 minute drive) and rode the ferry (10 minute drive to terminal) back to Puntarenas when we were done. BUT the best part for us was that a troop of about 20 howler monkeys was in the area and, at one point, treated us to about an hour-long show foraging in the trees almost directly above our dome.……

“This was an awesome property. I went with my spouse and adult children(17-22) and their friends. Total of 8 people. The house was very clean and open. The pool was exceptional. The sunsets on the beach were beautiful. The best part was the caretakers(Arturo and Maribel). Arturo was up early to get the pool and backyard set up for us to enjoy for the day. Maribel cooked us an awesome dinner our last night there. They were so nice and helpful the entire time we were there. They almost felt like……

“Lovely stay had by all. Domes were spacious and well equipped with comfy beds and all kids cons. Air con was brilliant! Shared outdoor kitchen had lots of space and was under cover and close to the domes. The pool was deep (circa 145cms and had a natural Tarzan swing which the kids loved. We had a great suggestion for a local tour from the manager and the cafe and the Italian themed shop was very convenient. Playa Órganos was just was a 5 min walk with a view to Tortuga. “Villa Mer is centrally located to many activities most within a 90 minute drive. Randal the owner is very responsive via What'sApp and the grounds keeper does his job without interfering with the guests enjoyment of the property. The pool man Alexander was beyond helpful even changing a tire for us when we discovered a flat. Having a washer onsite was good and hanging the clothes on the clothes lines was quite sufficient for drying, though for the off season a dryer would be needed.The pool is a……

“This was a amazing trip, don't get me wrong. The property is a little run down and there was zero comfortable seating to just relax and visit. Alex was AMAZING and very accommodating. The properties location would be perfect except it is down a very very long very very rough road. It doesn't matter where or what you are wanting to do it's at least a hour drive. If you plan on doing your own cooking it is not a user friendly facility, we decided to have Alex cook because that is what we do for a……
