“We had to book this location a day before we made it out there so I was nervous about what we were getting into but it was perfect! I must mention that we did not have AC in the unit we stayed in and coming from the south, that was very unusual. Little did we know, you didn’t even need AC! The ceiling fans were enough and kept us COLD as we slept! The host was responsive and very helpful! ”

“This was a cozy, clean, and aesthetically inspiring apartment with a wonderful view and a sprawling garden. My kids (ages 9 and 13) and I stayed here nearly a week, doing all kinds of fun activities in Berkeley. I asked the 9 year old what her favorite part of the trip was, and she said cuddling up in the little book nook while looking out at the view every evening. They felt at home and did not get homesick at all--which is first! ”

“Property very good and clean. Well situated and great for 2 people. 10 minutes walk to shpping centre and 15 minutes walk to train on M line. However, side gate needs repair and bangs at night and side path tricky to negotiate. Very low water pressure and could not get hot water to kitchen.”

The studio is spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with easy access and thoughtful amenities. Surrounding neighborhoods, off the tourist map, are safe and walkable, and in an area of The City very much worth exploring. Nearby West Portal village offers a wealth of very good restaurants with varied cuisine and average pricing catering mostly to locals.……

“Having moved out of state, we returned to find this wonderful place in our old neighborhood. Exceptionally clean, unexpectedly spacious, equipped with everything we needed for a week-long stay, including a lovely patio. Jeri was a terrific host too: attentive and responsive. Bottom line: we hated to leave. ”

“My partner and I came from Fresno. We were vendors at the SF Pride Celebration this year and needed a nice little spot that was somewhat close to the venue with free accessible parking. This was perfect! Unfortunately a few weeks leading up to our stay, my partner suffered an injury and we thought we would have to cancel, but the owner was beyond kind enough to allow special accommodations in order for us to be able to keep our reservation. The condo is beautifully taken care of and in the perfect spot in the city. Close to restaurants on Chestnut St and the Marina Green. The hosts were kind, thoughtful, and helpful. We felt so well taken care of. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone wanting the perfect place to stay in the city. ”
