“Great, spacious cabin complete with full kitchen (not a lot of restaurants in the area) and hit tub. Close to the Garden of the Gods and several of our other favorite hikes. We love coming down in the winter, hiking nearly empty trails and unwinding in the hot tub. Highly recommend!”

So clean... not what I would have expected for the first time staying in a place that allows pets. We enjoyed the fire ring with stocked wood pile in the evening and visiting with the horses nearby each morning. The home was easy to find coming from the east by looking up Prairie House Karbers Ridge. The owners were quick to stop by for a minor household issue and were so helpful when we had a……

“The property was just as advertised. Very spacious living area, great kitchen, 6 of us stayed so we used 3 of the bedrooms, and the 2 1/2 baths were great too!! Looks like they are working on the deck and dock area, should be very nice to enjoy on better weather days - too cold now for thin blooded people from the south. Thanks for a great stay!!!”

“Cozy, charming home that is well maintained. Very clean and comfortable. The beds and linens were fantastic. The Ice cream shop had incredible treats, and the staff was very friendly. “House has no visible neighbors but convenient to Garden of Gods and other trails. House has amazing views, 3 bathrooms and lots of big beds for adults. We used wash machine after getting clothes wet and muddy on trail. Kitchen fully stocked for grilling or cooking. Nearest grocery store a bit away so plan to haul in food. ”
