“My friend and I are on our 12th family vacation together. This year we decided to switch things up and go to the mountains. We had a great time ! The house was great for our teenagers and young adults to have plenty of room to spread out. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. We did havd a small air conditioning issue, bit we really didnt need it as the weather was so comfortable. Our host was also very quick to respond. “What a perfect time of the year to visit! The fall colors were stunning! The house was just right for our family of 9 adults and 3 kids -- there was plenty of space and fun things to do. We had a great time.”

“Just wrapped up a great stay at Snow Dog Lodge in Beech Mountain. The house is spacious, modern, and full of thoughtful details that made our trip really comfortable. With six sleeping areas and plenty of room to spread out, it was a great setup for a group getaway. The updated kitchen and big farmhouse table made mealtime easy, and the sunset views from the patio and especially the hot tub were a highlight.The game room and separate studio apartment were big bonuses. “We stayed at King Wolf for the final two days of a week-long service trip with high school students. It was perfect. The bunk-house setup was ideal, and we loved the open space and deck. We used the fire pit, and walked across the street to get amazing pizza. Everything was ideal, and communication with the owner was so easy. This is the perfect place for a large group. “Property was in a great location and house is nice, but the property was not very clean when we checked in. Dirty dishes in sink, fridge not cleaned out, dishes in the dishwasher. Linens were disgusting, hair on pillows and on sheets. Kind of ruined the whole stay.”

“We had a group of friends (mainly couples) come up the weekend for Retroweekend. The house was very clean when we arrived and had all the amenities we needed. Each couple had their own private room which was convenient. The pool room and the game room is really nice to have with all of our friends gathered around. We could not get the movie theater to work when we were there but that wasn’t a problem. No guest bathroom /half bath in the house so people had to walk into someone’s private……
