“We had a group of girls join us for a fun weekend in the mountains. Upon arriving, they immediately loved exploring the different levels of the cabin and picking out their rooms! I agree with the reviewer who commented about some things in the home not being “up to date” (like what you would find in an older home vs a newer construction) but we found it to be charming. “Place had a beautiful view and accommodations. Window was out in one of the bedrooms with plexiglass taped in, which made room cold, but I am sure they have fixed now. Overall loved our stay. ”

“The home is so unique in its design with a loft fit for Heidi, an old children’s book written by Spyri. The grandsons were immediately drawn to the loft, and the children’s furniture enhances its intrigue. Two bedrooms and baths downstairs provide excellent creature comfort for the adults and the great room encompassing the kitchen, dining room, and living room with the massive stone fireplace provides a warm and perfect environment for socializing. “Beautifully decorated house, with lots of windows and outdoor spaces to enjoy the views of the lake. It is on a “finger” of the lake, so there is virtually no boat traffic. Very peaceful and quiet. Property manager was very responsive. ”

“I rated this cabin four stars due to the lack of air conditioning, which was mentioned in its rustic description. However, I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The cabin is lovely and located in a great area near attractions and restaurants. It's worth noting that this cabin may be more suitable for visits in the fall and winter when it is cooler. I plan to return during that time in the future.”
