“My wife and I spent 3 relaxing days at this property which was immaculately clean and quiet with a very attentive and personable host (Wendy). The bunkie itself is in excellent shape right on the lake shore and we had full access to all the watercraft and amenities. One of the real highlights was the warm outdoor shower which was a real treat after a day of swimming and kayaking. The bunkie is west-facing so we could enjoy the sunsets every night with a glass of wine. The lake is a bit rocky so……

“Our stay at the JEMH Cottage was everything we wanted it to be. Our one daughter and son-in-law were with us and their three daughters ages 17, 8, 6 and our younger daughter and son-in-law and their 1year old daughter. They all said they had the “the best time ever. Everyone had comfortable beds to sleep in, even the 1 year old had a pack-n-play available for her. The cottage was very clean inside. We enjoyed the boat and kayaks. The little girls enjoyed fishing right off the dock. The weather……

This cottage is very close to Charleston Lake Provincial Park, and we made great use of the park pass that was included with our stay. “Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. ”
