“After nearly 2500 miles across country at 100 plus degree temperatures. This retreat exceeded all expectations. The views, the nature, the peace and tranquility, stars galore and all between the old west from John Wayne's yesteryear, and some of the most challenging off-road trails in Colorado leading to old gold and silver mines and abandoned ghost towns. “The views from the property were incredible so even without the extras the hosts supplied, it still would have been perfect! The home itself was lovely and well equipped with anything you could need. The kitchen had a variety of pots, pans and appliances, there was a large variety of books, games and puzzles and there were even extra towels if you decided to go to the hot springs. Our family thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the expansive deck to watch sunrises with coffee in the morning, glassing……

“This was, by far, the best girl's weekend you could ask for! The views are stunning. No verbal description or picture can do justice to the real thing, but Rick's description of the property is spot on. They have really thought of everything you could possibly want or need for your stay. I'd like to say it sucked so I could keep this location all to myself, lol, but that would be a lie and a huge disservice to our amazing host! We will be back! Don't know when, but we will be back. “If the house was perfect, beautiful scenery and all amenities needed. The location was a little further out of town than we anticipated, (15mins to ridgeway and 30 to ouray) but it worked out great. I would say again!”

“Our cabin was beautiful and so roomy. Loved the kitchen and not sure I’ve ever seen a bathroom as big as the master. Didn’t use the huge jetted tub but I’m sure it was relaxing. We did take advantage of the hot tub. It was a big hit with our family. Super comfy beds too. Came home one day and went to open one of the dining room windows and there laid two 8 pt bucks right outside. Liked to scared me to death. Ha. We also were greeted with two does daily. All in all a wonderful mountain……
