“A few really great things - this cabin was in a great location, very close to Boone and the Parkway. We saw a few deer at the cabin. The AC works great. Mattress was very comfortable. Cabin was decorated nicely. A few things that needed attention. The hot tub had a good bit of dirt in it and the owner said that would be remedied, but it was not. “We are a family of 6 with 4 kids between 15-21 all of whom are elite distance runners so our plan was to explore the running trails in high altitude in the cool mountain pre-summer climate. This house was the perfect location for us as most of the best trails were accessed via the Blue Ridge parkway which is just 7-8 minutes drive from this house.
