“This is not a place to stay, this is an experience, and a most amazing one at that! We pulled up to the property you could audibly hear all of our jaws collectively drop. The front porch, the walkways, the screened entrance on the side...just wow! You enter this home and time warped back to the late 1800's. The history inside was amazing. We got lost and turned around going up and down the 2 staircases. We stayed here with our daughter and grandkids, 8 year and 3. If you like playing Hide and……

“Cute cabin in the heart of the mountains. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is it. Set up with mostly everything you need. Be cautious there isn't a lot close by so have what you need ahead of time. About a 30 minute drive to gas stations, places to eat. Walmart was 45 minutes for groceries. Nice set up for kiddos in second bedroom. Cell service isn't great driving through the area but WiFi was good at the property. Not a lot of marked areas to explore but Google helped us a long.……

“My husband and I had a wonderful 3 days at Willet’s Pond. We Spent our days hiking, hanging out with the farm animals and marveling at the quiet beauty surrounding the property.”

The facility was as advertised and the host Walton was very helpful but not intrusive. If you are interested in helping around the farm, be sure to ask. There's always plenty to do. Great do-it-yourself experience.”
