“The room was very nice, the only down side about the stay was how small the bathroom was and there was no place to put items besides sitting them on the toilet”

“The property was well suited just outside of major traffic, and made for convenient walkable distances. Very solid and clean place. A slight ding comes from the internet throughout the whole building being very poor/non existent. ”

“I booked two rooms with two queen beds and that was not honored. I got one room with two queen beds and one room with a king. This discourages me from booking through Expedia if not honored at the hotel. ”

“There weren’t enough places to hang towels in the bathroom. Only one towel rack behind the toilet. The one on the door had been removed. Needed a couple more spots to dry used towels. ”

“This hotel is the best one we’ve stayed at in all the years we’ve visited Ames. A fantastic find for our son’s graduation weekend at Iowa State! We booked two rooms which were spacious, comfy, well-appointed suites that incl a kitchenette and sleeper sofa. There was enough room for all of us to gather, have drinks etc. Breakfast was outstanding in comparison to other hotels in the area. Staff was friendly and professional. Super clean. Highly recommended! ”

“We had a family wedding on the same weekend as graduations were happening, so the hotel was booked. We needed 3 rooms for 2 nights each. One of the rooms did not have a working shower and had a musty smell, so we were moved to a different room for the second night. The beds were a little on the hard side, but had a pillow top so they were mostly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good and the pool was in decent shape, so the grandkids enjoyed a swim.”
