“I have stayed several times at the Canyo River Lodge on the Yakima River. Every time I am reminded of how beautiful the Yakima River canyon is and how easy a drive it is from Seattle. The lodge itself is a world class facility right on the river. The suites are lovely, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant has wonderful food. In addition there is one of the finest fly shops at the lodge that I have ever been in. They have guides for fishing, sporting clays, and hunting if you need help……

“I enjoyed the stay since it’s 3 mins from CWU. Two things about the place, when I arrive there and open the door, I smell stuffy immediately. I noticed that the temp was set to 80 degrees while the weather is 70 degrees outside. The AC is not working well since I was trying to get more cooling. I even had a stranger to help me out. But the place is nice and simple for me to stay and sleep and go. ”
