“This place was just perfect for what we needed a cool and quiet place. Was doing a motorcycle trip with a friend and we parked our bikes, just outside the entrance door and it was covered parking. There was chairs outside to enjoy but after a hot day we just stayed inside, but we both agreed it would be great in the fall or spring.”

“Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”

“This is a jewel of a place to relax and enjoy the country life. We knew we were going to love it from the minute we pulled in the long driveway. Each morning we had breakfast on the side patio and watched the ducks on the pond. The facilities provide everything you could need for your stay. The master bedroom is comfortable, cool, and best of all dark. It was so nice to just sit back and listen to birds while reading and sitting under the pergola. Plenty of places to walk. AND BEST OF ALL is……

“Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. “This was the most charming hotel I stayed at on a recent road trip. I wouldn’t call it fancy, but it was well maintained and clean. From the dolphin fresco at bottom of the pool To the arch in my room it felt like someplace that Wednesday from the book American Gods would stay at. Once the A/C had a chance to run, it was a really nice stay :)”
