“We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! It was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Having Branch Lake a few steps from the house was amazing. We swam and canoed several days and explored Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Of course, we couldn’t miss the popovers at the Jordan Pond House. We loved the cottage (as well as Maggie from next door) and hope to return. ”

“This is my third time staying here and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve stayed here twice during the summer and once during the fall. The rooms are super cozy. The room is always so clean and smells great. It’s close enough to downtown and Arcadia National Park. When in the room you can’t hear the traffic. Hanscom’s is definitely a diamond in the rough. I also have to say Isis who works at the property is always super nice and fast with responding if you email her. ”

“We love the cabin! It has just what you need. The water is clean and beautiful. Great dock, fire pit, and paddle boards for use. Great access to Schoodic Point, and cute cafe nearby. Can’t wait to come back!”

The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again.”

“Good place to rest your head with parking (a luxury in Bar Harbor). Made two separate reservations because decided to add a night. No issues whatsoever. Lots of amenities-provided everything you need! Kitchen a plus. Good amount of space. ”
