“Early September I took a weeklong trip and stayed in Elizabeth’s room at Elsa’s. To say it was the perfect choice is an understatement! The property was gorgeous, the room was sweet and cozy and had the perfect view of the harbor (across the street!) The inn keepers were so warm, kind and helpful. And they make THE BEST breakfast. “The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge.”

“Great experience. It was cozy environment. The only downside is there was some remienence of trash in the trashcan itself. “We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. We were so LUCKY it was available. The price was reasonable and we could immediately check in. So easy! Thank you to the host family who has placed this location on……
