“Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Was in town for a work trip and I was able to work into the evening and not be distracted. Breakfast, while not fancy was good, a nice selection daily. Room price could not be beat! If I return to Charles City, I will definitely stay there again ”

“Our stay at the 1926 Guesthouse was amazing. The house is beautiful and exactly as described. Our host, Heidi, was incredible to work with and communication was excellent. The check in process was seamless and the key placement when leaving the house is a great idea . The house is more than adequate to host a family or a group gathering. The kitchen is spacious and is stocked with necessary items. The handheld garment steamer is a fantastic amenity, it was a pleasant surprise to see it on……

“Outside was needing some attention especially around the side doors. Trash was overflowing but room was ok, it was clean and the air conditioning worked ”

“Clean and comfortable. The finishes aren’t fancy but everything worked and nice to have off street parking and private yard. The steps to bedrooms 2 & 3 are pretty steep so might not work for everyone. Lots of TV’s so everyone can watch what they prefer. Kind and communicative hosts. I enjoyed the 1968 book celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Lime Springs for a little local history.”
