“Overall super impressed with the beauty of this home on the Mississippi (aka Lake Pepin). Gorgeous views, tons of birds, river/lake activity to watch, peaceful settings on either side of the home to enjoy outside...except trains. Lots of them. Because of where the home sits in relation to the town of Maiden Rock, the horn blows RIGHT at this location. It is jarring at first, and while you do get more used to it, it does occur day and night. The hosts provide ear plugs in each room as well as a……

“We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out……

“We had a great stay at this property. Bright and spacious with plenty of area to relax and play. The front porch overlooking the river was a hit. The kids loved watching the trains go by and playing at the beach across the street. Easy check-in and check-out and very responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!”

“This was a great place for two families to share a long weekend with all of our adult kids. Everyone had their own space and at the same time there were so many nice common areas to gather. We ended up with great weather, but if it hadn’t been nice outside we would’ve spent more time in the game room. Everyone enjoyed the space and great memories were made.”

“This is a beautiful property overlooking the water. New construction so everything is updated nicely. Pictures are as shown, beautiful view of Pepin, rooftop area very nice but the units deck was also wonderful! Only suggestions are very minor: not much for confidence supplies if you cook a lot—tin foil, plastic wrap, general spices. And the shower head doesn’t have any adjustments, it is very fine and strong spray, a bit harsh on areas like your face. Overall loved our stay! Would definitely……
