“Very charming house; nicely decorated; wonderfully presented and delicious breakfast of cottage cakes, French toast and fresh fruit; gracious host Only drawback was electrical - not enough lamps/light and convenient access to sockets to charge phones. Probably because those are hard to combine with charming, Victorian interior design. ”

“The lift broke down and my two children were trapped in the lift, which fell from the third floor to the first floor. Without an engineer, a resident helped, asking the staff to get the keys and help restart the elevator. Until the elevator restarted, the elevator went up to the third floor to the first floor again, the elevator doors opened, and no engineers came to the hotel. My children were crying and shaking, and no one asked if we were ok or hurt. I went to the front desk and asked them……
