“Girls met here for long weekend. This is an older home updated. We didn’t do any cooking basically just slept there. Kitchen appears well stocked. It’s winter in Iowa, so parking of vehicles is required to be in the alley. Plenty of room for our vehicles Owner great to work with; very quick to respond to questions. The house is spacious offering all the comforts necessary to really rest and relax but also 23 minutes from The shrine of the Grotto of the redemption if you're looking for adventure. The home was not as clean as we expected property is listed as pet free but we found dog hair very much in the main area and master bedroom. We did a lot of cleaning. “I've traveled to Algona before and stayed in the hotels, which were nice, but this stay was my favorite so far. The home is close to everything in town. It has a very charming feel and very comfortable to hang out with family. The host is very proactive and helpful with anything you need. The house is well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable.
