“I’ve never been able to stay in a house near Five Island Lake, so this was a cool experience. There is a great fire pit area and dock down by the lake. Overall you stay here for the proximity to the lake and the newness of the building. Which is not really offered in any other rental house in Emmetsburg. Grateful for the opportunity to experience it! The house has beautiful new wooden flooring and a nice living room. Check-in using the door code was perfectly easy. The house is set quite far……

A winter storm came through during this visit and the property manager informed us that a snow removal service and ice melt were available if we needed them. We didn’t have to worry about anything - our stay was perfect!”

The home was not as clean as we expected property is listed as pet free but we found dog hair very much in the main area and master bedroom. We did a lot of cleaning. “Girls met here for long weekend. This is an older home updated. We didn’t do any cooking basically just slept there. Kitchen appears well stocked. It’s winter in Iowa, so parking of vehicles is required to be in the alley. Plenty of room for our vehicles Owner great to work with; very quick to respond to questions. We will definitely book again!!”
