“Simply fantastic stay. The host (Property manager I think) is very flexible to accomodate our last minute demands. Their welcome packet was really amazing with local beverages (thanks). The house is beautiful. Every room is clean and equipped with all essentials. I think they were recently renovated(better than the picture). “The house was lovely, clean and spacious. However, we do have a couple of recommendations... The dining table only had 4 chairs in a house that sleeps 10 (we had 8). Please provide more chairs at the large table. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable. Finally, the patio only had one chair, which was too dirty to sit on. You need more patio furniture so guests can sit outside in the morning with their coffee.”

“Ryan & Mel were fantastic managers. Good communicators, helpful, & very professional. The house was ABSOLUTELY spotlessly clean. Everything you could imagine is provided. The house is comfortable, cozy & conveniently located. And the nearby traintracks was not an issue at all. It's a no horn zone & I actually found the clacking on the rails quite soothing & looked forward to the next passing train. And I could go on & on about the comfortable bed. Oh my! “This is truly a gem of a place! We had 4 families stay, 17 ages 16-50 and a 1 year old. Plenty of beds, plus there were air mattresses if needed. Everything we needed for 1 year old, even toys outside. Can’t say enough about the outdoor area, where we spent all our time when at the house. Lots of place for all of us. We grilled and used fire pit with no problem. The outdoor tv was fun, watched a movie while playing cards at night. Pool was amazing, and way bigger than we thought. Absolutely no……

“My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Garden Cottage! We were there for 3 days while in Kansas City for business and it was the perfect place to unwind after many business meetings. The surrounding countryside is really peaceful and the gardens area is pretty. The pond is a nice place to sit too. “The house was clean & well stocked & very quiet inside. The only large downfall was the a/c in the 3 bedrooms did not work well at all. The entire upstairs was very hot & muggy until the sun went down. Then the mainfloor bedroom was hot all night. The house will be perfect if the a/c is figured out. We had a mouse surprise us in the kitchen but that was not a huge ordeal. ”

“I needed an Airb&b close to the working dog competion that we were participating in. It is a great venue with plenty of room to walk and exercise my dog. I loved the horses, chickens, ducks and especially the fresh eggs. Great service as well.”
