“We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is older but has all the comforts of home, with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Anytime we needed something, it was there — from toiletries and cooking spices to little candies left for the kids when we checked in.We loved the remote, rural setting — it was peaceful and a great place to unwind after long days of hiking, biking, and exploring the forest. “This is a quiet cabin in the country which was the perfect base to visit Shawnee National Forest from. It had A/C, WIFI, and QUIET which are all the things I was looking for. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and our hosts were great to bring over a new coffee maker when the one in the cabin stopped working. It was a nice and relaxing trip with easy access to dining and scenery. Really enjoyable.”
