“A wonderful place to stay for a family vacation! ”

“Easy access to Every where we wanted to go. Minutes from Garlyn zoo, St. Ignace, Ferry’s to Mackinaw Island. Short drive to Tahquamenon Falls and Pictured Rock. House was perfect for my wife and myself. ”

“This property was clean and better even than the pictures! My complaint was the water quality. Definitely bring your own drinking water. ”

“Sam was an excellent and very accommodating host. The place is nice and comfortable. Downtown is just across the street and the pasties from Hiawatha are even closer and very tasty.”

“The property was clean, quiet, and bug free on the inside. It was definitely Michigan weather. Air conditioning in the morning and heat at night. Lol. The lake was pretty and the loons were singing at night and in the morning. At night you havr a great view of the northern sky. No dark sky park needed. Firewood and charcoal seemed to be provided, which was a really nice amenity. It was a short trip so sadly we didn't use any of it. Next time we'll come for a week. Rent cabin 7 if you want a dock……

“Location was perfect for the UP attractions we wanted to see. House was very well stocked. Host was quick to respond for questions. The WiFi was not very reliable, it’s satellite so it was because of the weather and uncontrollable. A couple of the beds have uneven ware which made them not so comfortable. The TV in one room did not have sound but no big deal as we weren’t there to watch TV. Overall a very nice place to stay for value, location and courteous host. ”

“Wonderful stay with gracious hosts who were excellent with communication. The house was clean and perfect for our toddler. Not only were there toys for him to play with, but the added bonus of cups, plates, and silverware for him and his cousin made the trip that much easier for family dinners. There were plenty of chairs inside and out for campfires and family dinners and it made it a great gathering spot for other family members who stayed in St. Ignace to come and enjoy an evening. Perfect……

“It was the perfect location for all my family's hobbies. The cabin was the central hub for everyone. It had everything we needed. The lake was beautiful. The cabin was close to off road and hiking trails. Jon was helpful whenever my family needed something. We'll stay again.”

“It was really good. Enjoyed our stay. The description said it was 2 bedrooms but I would call it a one bedroom with additional sleeping loft and I didn’t see any kayaks the description said 2 kayaks were available.”
