“Hubby and I wanted a cute getaway for thanksgiving weekend, and this little cabin was perfect. Secluded but still close enough to civilization. The hot tub was wonderful. We unfortunately never got to use the fire pit - just a bit too cold out for us. Space is great. There is a pretty close neighbor, but it didn’t impact our stay at all, and we basically forgot the house was there. The road to the cabin is unpaved so 4WD is probably a good idea. Very cute place ”

“The hostess Cathleen was amazing…very responsive to questions, helpful, accommodating! The house was nice..the living space was smaller in real life than it seemed in pictures but still met our needs with no issues!! The bedrooms, bathrooms, floors were clean. The kitchen was fully stocked, though some of the utensils/ pans could be replaced. The kids enjoyed the downstairs which had a kid-sized pool table, a tv and plenty of games. We missed a tv in the general living room! The Hideout……

“We enjoyed this property. The house was clean and as described. We had fun with the arcade games and there was space for everyone to relax. The north gate entrance was closed and the detour made getting around a little difficult. Other than that, we had a great time.”

“When we arrived at Big Bear Chalet we couldn’t believe the spaciousness as well as cleanliness of this home. The description was spot on! Nothing was left out, every amenity listed was in the home and then some! We were a total of 6 adults, a toddler and a baby as well as my daughter’s beagle. Loved every moment and hope to be back next year. Even the weather didn’t deter us from having a good time. ”

“We had a great weekend at this property. The house is adorable and the space was great to get family together. Only small flaw for our group was the spiral staircase as we had a number of small children who wanted to climb up and down most of the time there. Otherwise perfect time away with our group. Would absolutely recommend.”

“My husband , and daughters with their families stayed for 5 days starting on New Years Eve. We had a lovely stay in this pocono home.We took hikes in the nature trail, 2.6 mi, and around the golf course. Game nights in the evening. ”

“The Chalet was such an amazing place to stay. It was a hidden jam in the middle of the Poconos, and I felt like I was transported to another country. Just three hours from home and I felt so at peace. Anything and everything you want was in the chalet. We didn’t have to leave for anything. It was the perfect vacation. And Loreen is the best host. I had a few questions and she answered almost instantly.! I can’t wait to stay here again”
