“The view was amazing! Hot tub was super clean (needs a new lid) house was very clean! Owner was great to work with!The dock was further away than the pictures made it seem and it was not accessible to my husband who has a bad back bc it was very steep. But!! It had everything a family would I need to have lots of fun at the lake!”

You feel like you are so far away but really just 15 minutes to town. Thanks to Leah for being so quick with answers and allowing us to enjoy their little piece of country living.”

“Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be……

“PROS: Exactly as pictured. It’s in an older neighborhood felt very safe. It’s been remodeled probably in the last four years inside. All the appliances work. washer &dryer in the garage was very convenient. FYI agitator goes few seconds before the water starts filling up. Bring soap & dryer sheets. Nice little house for up to 6 people to stay comfortable. CONS: There were one or two ants each day in the kitchen and bathroom. garage door does not open to put your car in. shower curtain liner……

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Being at the end of the road, right on the water, provided us with privacy and peaceful surroundings. Our host was very responsive to our messaging throughout the whole process. The home was stocked with coffee, spices, Keurig cups, drip coffee filters, etc. The accommodations were very comfortable.
