“Hotel was rather expensive and included NO amenities. We had to pay extra for breakfast. Staff at front desk on our day of checkout need course in hospitality.”

Would have been very nice to have a refrigerator and ice machine more readily available. The tours were very informative, fun, and interesting. The restaurant on the grounds was outstanding. ”

“I was very sceptical when I saw the neighborhood and the outside of the hotel,but once I checked in I was pleasantly surprised. Recently renovated rooms,very nice. The downside was the tissue which wasn't even 1ply and completely see through and even though the doors had a deadbolt, the extra lock at the top would have been a bonus. Bathroom was small but again big enough for me.It was quiet and peaceful.”

The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, which made us feel right at home. One of our favorite features was the front porch with rocking chairs—it was so peaceful and relaxing.
