“The Pine Hill Cabin was perfect for our winter family getaway. The home is close to town and Pictured Rocks, but offers a lot of quiet and privacy. The furnishings are very comfortable. The appliances are awesome, and the kitchen is well stocked. Our kids enjoyed eating and playing games at the huge table. The hosts were very helpful, and super responsive. We will stay here again.”

“This is our second time back and we had another great stay. Clean and great communication. Will note that a few general maintenance things around the cabin could use some TLC (overhead light in microwave was burned out and trashcan lid is missing/broken). All together a good cabin. Would stay again. ”

“Perfect home base and escape from the city. We came in shoulder or off season (November) and it was very peaceful. Perfect spot for trailheads in Pictured Rocks. ”

“This was the perfect stay for an autumn getaway. Earlier this year, our family had a not so great experience with an out of country apartment we booked which left us a little nervous to book one in the future. But our nerves quickly subsided as the host communicated well and was super nice and friendly when we had an issue during our stay. As a national park lover, it was a big plus that this cabin was only 20 minutes from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Would stay here again if we’re ever……

“We were quite comfortable at the The Lake Haus. It was very peaceful looking out at the bay from the firepit area and the sunsets from the dock were gorgeous. The game room was a hit with everyone, especially the golf and Tempest arcade games and the electronic dart board. The bunk room was very well laid out and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen and living room/dining area were a bit small for our group of nine, but we made do without too much trouble. This was a nice place to……

“The property is as good as advertised! Being there in the winter made the fireplace especially nice to have, but we enjoyed everything about the place. Highly recommend it!”

“Cabin was spectacular. Decorations and set up was beautiful. Cozy and peaceful interior. We did not stay on property during the day as we adventured to picture rocks, Laughing Whitefish Falls and Kitch-iti-kipi during the day and was treated to sunsets and the best star gazing possible when arriving back at night.”

“This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever been in and we have been in a few over the years. There is pride shown in the workmanship throughout this home. The property is perfectly located for access to the towns center. We could walk to town in 5 minutes and be in the center of the shops and restaurants. Our age group was in the middle 60’s. The wood floors, walls and slab logs through out the property provided a warmth to the home. There is an abundance of room on the main floor,……

Easy access to the snowmobile trails from the house (have to cross the road then drive down a not busy road about 1/2 mile), plenty of parking for our two trucks and trailers, and extra space for our dogs to run around and enjoy the snow. Plenty of room in the house for us to lounge around comfortably. We would stay here again! ”

“We stayed here for our snowmobile trip. Great cabin for all the guys. Close to the Buckhorn and gas there. It had all the amenities we needed for cooking and cleaning up. Would definitely stay here again! ”

“My adult daughter and I have enjoyed this cabin for the past two Februarys now. The fireplace is wonderful and it's perfect after a day skiing in what turned out to be bitterly weather. Also, the hot tub is a very welcome addition! We're hoping to book this same cabin in 2026.”

“Gorgeous setting in the woods! Wonderful craftsmanship! You have to spend time looking around the cabin to appreciate everything it has to offer. It was extremely clean and so very comfortable! Full of amenities, stocked with kitchen and bathroom items, games, and toys. Comfy beds. Plenty warm in the middle of winter. Short drive anywhere on the peninsula. A ton of care was put into building it, take care when staying here and keep it beautiful!”

“We have stayed here for 3 years now and we love it! This place has officially become our christmas vacation home. We are looking forward to next year.”
