“This was a beautiful and comfortable room. It was spacious and smelled lovely. I was surprised to find such a gem in this rather rural area.”

“Older hotel, however, updates have been made in furnishings, flooring, etc. The location is fine with the lake right behind the hotel. Perkins is down the street for a quick meal. Breakfast was minimal, not the usual cooked breakfast but had cereal, oatmeal, packaged pastries and some breakfast sandwiches you could microwave yourself. I don’t think I’d stay here again. Pillows were horrid. ”

“Property was pretty nice. I am not over fond of the chains policy to set mattress on metal frame. Mattress kept sliding and I banged my shin more than once. But the property is in a lovely area. I went in off season and some of the dining options were not available but still enough I didn’t have to eat at the hot dog stand. ”

“This place sits on some lovely acreage and overlooks the bay. The area is quiet and rooms were quite nice. They are finishing up some renovations and the updates are just perfect. Breakfast on the weekends, while not fancy, was definitely filling. During the week it's grab and go breakfast, but with good options, some to heat up in the microwave, some cold breakfast options.
